Tubular heating elements are among the most flexible heaters we manufacture – custom-formed into a wide variety of shapes including straight rods, U-bends, multi-finger configurations and complex manifold geometries to match your exact application.
Construction
Each tubular element is built with a tightly wound resistance coil centred inside a metal sheath and packed with high-purity magnesium oxide insulation, then swaged to a precise outer diameter. We offer finned variants for air and duct heating, immersion-rated versions for liquid heating, and flexible or rigid manifold tubular heaters for complex multi-point heating circuits.
Key Features
- Bent and formed to any shape – U-bends, multiple finger bends, coils
- Finned options dramatically increase surface area for air heating
- Immersion-rated sheaths (e.g. Incoloy, stainless steel) for liquid applications
- Flexible manifold variants simplify routing in tight enclosures
Typical Applications
Air heaters, duct heating, liquid immersion heating (oil, water, chemical baths), super-heaters for steam applications, and custom manifold heating circuits for industrial ovens and process equipment.
